Job description:
Under the supervision of a physician, provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services to patients. An expert in patient care who can provide quality care, perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and medical history. The APRN can order and interpret a variety of laboratory and diagnostic tests. The APRN can diagnose, develop appropriate treatment plans, prescribe medical regimen, and educate patients/family regarding diagnosis and plan of care. The Delineation of Privileges helps structure the care and management that the APRN provides for patients. The APRN works collaboratively with physicians, staff, and administration to ensure quality of care across the health system. The APRN integrates evidence-based practice and technological advances into their scope of practice
